Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Alain Louis of Hamden, CT has designed a new spice holder that conveniently fits above the stove.
If you are short in stature, or in a wheelchair, it can be frustrating when you can’t reach something and have to ask others for help. Alain has always enjoyed cooking but would need assistance from his wife or kids when trying to reach spices in the cabinet from his wheelchair. His wife began leaving their frequently used spices over the stove for his convenience. It really made a lot of things easier for everyone. Alain checked everywhere for an over the stove storage device but came up emptyhanded. In turn, as a former carpenter and handyman, he was inspired to build one!
But how does it work? Simply align the legs of the spice rack with the back panel of the stove. You will then place the rack down on the top surface making sure it is level.
